The Office of CCA has mandated changes in compliance with the DPDP Act to enhance data security, streamline operations, and improve service delivery. As part of these changes, they’ve issued the IVG (Identity Verification Guidelines) in alignment with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act of 2023 (DPDP Act). Please read below for details specific to retail customers and our Business Partners (formerly Registration Authorities aka RA).
For Our Valued Customers:
1. Enhanced Data Privacy and Security:
- Your personal data and eKYC information will now be managed with stricter security protocols. Business Partners will no longer have access to this sensitive information, ensuring your data is more secure than ever.
2. Direct Invoicing from Certifying Authorities (CAs):
- Invoices for DSCs will now be issued directly to you by Certifying Authorities (CAs) such as eMudhra, XtraTrust, PantaSign, Capricorn, and VSign. This change simplifies the billing process, ensuring greater transparency and ease.
3. New Enrollment Process:
- The DSC enrollment process will now be conducted through a dedicated link provided by EVERSIGN. This link will be specific to your application and include a Unique Business Partner Reference Code for accurate tracking and management.
4. Potential Increase in DSC Prices:
- As previously communicated in our blog post titled “Important Update: Potential Increase in DSC Prices Starting July 15, 2024”, please note that there might be a price adjustment for DSCs. We are committed to providing transparent communication regarding any changes in pricing.

- A new Business Partner Dashboard will be available starting from July 15, 2024. This dashboard will provide access to various reports to help you monitor your commissions and related information efficiently.
3. Limited Access to Personal Data:
- To comply with the DPDP Act, Business Partners will no longer have access to applicants’ personal data or eKYC information.
4. Separate DSC Enrollment Process:
- DSC enrollment will no longer be conducted through your dashboard. Instead, a dedicated DSC enrollment link will be provided, which includes a Unique Business Partner Reference Code for tracking and management.
5. Direct Invoicing to Applicants:
- Certifying Authorities (CAs) such as eMudhra, XtraTrust, PantaSign, Capricorn, and VSign will issue DSC invoices directly to the applicants, simplifying the invoicing process for Business Partners.
6. Settlement of Existing Counters:

We have a query, & kindly tell us what should we do.
Already, we have a new DSC enrollment & certificate for applicant which was issued on April, 2024 valid for 2 years only with the help of Business Partners (DSC). Again, we will proceed for DSC verification or after 2 years, when DSC will expire.

Sir, verification is not needed as long as your DSC is valid, your DSC will keep working as it is. Only DSC issuance process is changed w.e.f. 15-07-2024.
