In June, we informed you about the potential price increase for Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) that was expected to take effect by July 1, 2024. However, the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) extended the implementation date of the IVG Guidelines to July 15, 2024, leading to a postponement of the price increase.
We understand that our EVERSIGN Customer Support Representatives advised new customers to activate their DSCs promptly. Despite our efforts, including multiple telephonic calls and emails, not all orders have been activated. We have made numerous attempts to contact each customer with pending orders, but some orders have not been activated due to pending KYC (Know Your Customer) documents or because the KYC was not approved. Your money is secure with us, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent process for all our valued customers. Below is our comprehensive policy outlining the next steps, designed to provide you with clarity and confidence during this transition period. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to address your needs and maintain the highest standards of service.
Activation with New Pricing:
Customers who missed activating their DSCs before the deadline can still do so by paying the difference between the old and new prices. This difference will cover the increased costs due to the updated IVG Guidelines, which include enhanced security measures to protect your digital transactions. Invoices for the additional amount will be issued directly by the Certifying Authorities (CA), reflecting the full amount of the DSC cost plus GST. For example, eMudhra’s DSC Signing for 2 Years is priced at Rs. 1500, which becomes Rs. 1770 after adding GST. Once the payment is received, your DSC will be activated promptly. Please contact our support team for assistance with this process.
Activation at Old Pricing:
We regret to inform you that due to the mandatory changes in the DSC issuance process, we are unable to activate DSCs at the old price. The new regulations imposed by the CCA necessitate additional verification steps and increased costs, making it impossible for us to maintain the old pricing structure. Refund Policy:
Your money is secure with us. If you choose not to activate your DSC under the new pricing structure, you have the option to return the Token Package delivered to you by EVERSIGN. Please note the following steps for the return and refund process:
- Return the Token Package: Ship the Token Package back to us at your own cost of courier. Ensure that the package is securely sealed and includes all components originally delivered.

- Return Confirmation: Once we receive the returned package, our team will inspect it to ensure all components are intact and in good condition. We will then process your refund.
- Refund Processing Time: The refund will be issued within 10 business days of receiving the returned package. The refund amount will be credited to the original payment method used during the purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed.
